“Get Out Your Beads, It’s Mardi Gras Time In Stanly County”
2008 Stanly County Chamber of Commerce Reverse Raffle & Silent Auction August 23, 2008 6:00-10:00PM held at Market Station in Downtown Albemarle. This year’s silent auction promises to be better than ever.
From “A Taste of Stanly County” and its variety of food samples to entertainment featuring music by Joy Almond and the band, “Fat Cabbage”; from delicious refreshments that include the specialty drink, “The Hurricane,” to a silent auction, reverse raffle and valuable door prizes, there is something for everyone.
Tickets are $100 per couple and as less than 300 will be sold, odds for winning are great. Each raffle ticket admits 2 people with two chances to win cash. The last ticket drawn wins $3,000 and runners-up win $1,000 and $500.
